CONTESTING THE ARBITRATION AWARDIn the event any party is contests the non-binding arbitration award, the use of non-binding arbitration still allows the parties to litigate the matter in court by way of a trial de novo However. If one of the parties does object to the arbitration award and requests a trial, if the result of the trial is not better than the award for that party, usually by at least 25%, they will be responsible for the non-objecting party's attorney's fees.
